We must demand change! Today (June 25) at 10 am, the City of Houston Public Safety Committee is holding a virtual meeting to discuss HPD initiatives and police oversight. Info on how to watch this important meeting is on our IG story.
Earlier this month, the City approved a $5.1 BILLION budget that includes $965 MILLION for HPD (a $19 MILLION bump). We know this video isn’t easy to watch. But it’s the truth. And it happened in our city. We must demand change. Video: @ryanthawk
