Need Legal Help?
Restoring Justice provides holistic criminal defense representation to community members facing charges in Harris County, Texas. We accept representation on a case-by-case basis, taking into account a wide-range of factors primarily being custody status, adequacy of legal representation (through both objective and subjective criteria), and the availability of our staff and resources.
To qualify for Restoring Justice’s services, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Indigent status and current legal representation
Be indigent and currently be represented by private, court-appointed counsel (typically we do not take cases if you already have an attorney from the Harris County Public Defender’s Office, as they provide high-quality holistic defense).
2. Have an active criminal case in Harris County.
Have a pending, active criminal case in Harris County. We do not handle post-conviction cases and are currently not accepting cases outside of Harris County, unless you are already a current client.
We can not respond to every request for help, but we will document your request information, evaluate eligibility, and one of our attorneys will reach out if we are able to take your case.
